What are you using to hang the gongs(the clamp things on the cross section of wood)? I am interested in buying a set, and shipping to 92019?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Here are a couple pictures of a set of stands I have been using for some time. From the looks of my screen name, yes I am related to the seller of these stands but you can't deny the quality.

            I'm a little confused about what's included.

The top pic shows 4 sets, each set is 2 bases and 2 cross connectors. Is that what's included in the $45 price?

The 2nd pic show it assembled with 2 cross pieces, so that would be $65?

I post alot of pictures to show examples of setting up. upper and middle brackets are the same, tilted in the middle (brackets are optional as noted)
but if buying two sets of stands i wont charge additional shipping as itll fit all in the same box

                  Here's a picture of the set-up I used today.

Basic stands with 1x2 strips of wood.
                  Cross adapter and hooks.
                  IPSC/USPSA "A" zone size plate.

I used a simple wire hanger from the dry cleaners to lace through the holes and around the hooks. "ghetto rigged" but cheap and effective.

Held up very well. The wood got chewed up from the deflection of the copper jackets hitting the plate, but those cost ...what...a $1.50 from Lowes?

Wouldn't it be better to have the thumb screws turned facing backwards so you don't accidentally bend it or blast one making it impossible to remove or part of it being left in the hole

                            Anyway.. PM inbound to svc707.
