    Introducing ourselves. Hey!!

I wanted to start off our stay here at Cal Guns and welcome everyone! We are a new business and we are looking forward to helping everyone out with their firearm accessory needs.

A little background on who we are. My name is Nick and my business partner is Brian. We are both combat vets who recently separated from the army. He was up in Ft. Lewis and I was over at Ft. Riley. We both have a few deployments under our belt. We pride our business off of integrity and honesty and are very upfront with customers. I believe in the importance of when I say something will get done, it WILL get done right there and then.

We sell firearm accessories at a practical price. We decided to go down this road because firearms and tactics are pretty much all we know. We were sick of paying crazy over priced fee's for items I knew that retailers were getting for cheap on the down low so we started PracticalDefenseUSA.com We try to sell everything for a decent price so people don't have to break the bank for necessary goods.

I wanted to start off our first post and not advertise any items just yet as I'm more looking for feedback from you all, on what you guys would like to see cheaper, or what items people are really in demand for so I can get them at a better price for everyone. We would also appreciate feedback on our website. What would make it easier for you all to navigate through it? Is it too confusing or do you all think our site is pretty good? This whole business is about the customer. If we can make it better for you guys, thats our goal. We are even open to hand delivering items that are in the Sacramento Area, as we are based there. Like I said, whatever we can do to help the customer, we will do.

Anyways, just wanted to drop by and introduce ourselves. We look forward to helping everyone out and can't wait to hear back from you all.
    Thanks.

    Welcome.

We can be a rather lazy lot around here, creating links in your threads is a surefire way to get more people to check out PracticalDefenseUSA

picked up some mags from these guys for a great price. Their site is nice and easy to navigate and the whole process was seamless. Nice work so far gentlemen. I will definitely be looking to your site for future purchases.

Welcome, glad to have you here.

I checked out your website and it does run very smoothly and seamlessly on my Android smartphone (so you have a nice working mobile version of your site.). it also appears that you're going for the higher quality items, which is good.
I noticed you did not have knives and I did notice on a thread I posted about 5 11 tactical giving away a free knife that thread got a lot of attention and I'm sure that promotion generated a lot of orders for them. (even though the folding knife was small sized & low cost but good quality for a Chinese made knife.) and the knife had their logo and name printed on it which is a nice way for them to get free advertising, like the old free t-shirts used to do a very long time ago.
but I'm sure you have some great reasons for not selling knives.

Most importantly I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors and thank you both for your service to our country.

how about some photos on your website of that beautiful dog ...

            In some tactical gear :-)

Open and honest communication with your customers will be one of the best assets for your business to prosper.

Quality and prices may get customers---customer service KEEPS customers.

                Best of luck gentlemen.

Welcome and definitely nice to have another store pop up in the Sacramento area.

Do you guys have hi cap magazine permit? In my opinion a lot of guys who brought SSE handguns are eager to find a way to get some blocked 10 rd magazines for their off roster handguns.

Good luck and welcome to Calguns.

We currently do not have a high cap mag permit. The only mags we have that have the block off plates/risers are the Hexmags for the AR15 which we are currently sold out of. Sorry

I applaud you both for going out on a limb and starting your company.

Most people shop online to avoid the dreaded 8%+ tax. So it's gonna be hard to get fellow CA shoppers to buy from you.

If you want to be a player, you must have fair prices, and the best customer service. Post frequently on here with updates on sales and such.
Treat us Cal gunners right, and business will easily come your way. Screw us over, your doors will close soon after. Just saying.

Best of luck Gemtlmen. And thank you for your service! God Bless!
