The SSE process is done with a non-threaded barrel. At completion of DROS, we deliver the gun to you field stripped along with the threaded barrel. You just cannot assemble the gun with the threaded barrel in CA. Possession of the separate barrel is legal. We can send the barrel out if you like to have the threads removed at additional cost. There are OEM non-threaded barrels available as well.
