Just put in an order for one of these bad boys, will report to you all when I receive it. I know there are folks who have had a real problem with Ice Arms, and I have had some delays in the past, but they have done right by be me; this is my 4th order...

          Help me out here ICE...

Damn, that sucks. Cancel that order. File a claim with your credit card company if they don't handle it within a few days. I was about to order one from ICE also but hesitated because of the little to no customer service. That's when I recieved an email about the AIM surplus BCG for $169 shipped. Ordered Monday and recieved tracking info today.

I had orders some bcg's from them last year. They were instock & it toke them over a month to ship. The bcg's look good but I have not used them...

How good are the AIM surplus' bcg's?

Ice Arms 308 Phosphate Bolt Carrier Group

I ordered on 3/4. After a week sent them an email. Got a reply back saying Colin takes care of that and will get back to me. Waited another week. Nothing. Sent several more emails. Still nothing. It's 3/27 and nothing.

How do these places stay in business like this. I was about to order a stainless barrel, but now forget that.
I will request a chargeback if I don't hear anything by this weekend and give up.

                  Don't loose faith weespeed!
(but don't wait so long that you can't get your CC company to do a charge-back either though - just to be safe)

What is your order number? Mine (from 3/20) is 9670? Wonder how many other orders they received in between 3/4 and 3/20...

Before that I placed a different order for two BCGs on 1/11 and the parts shipped on 2/21.... And then they even exchanged it for me when it didn't have the markings I wanted... They are trying, its not like its a scam shop that is just ripping CC numbers and no one EVER gets sent anything - but hopefully they will improve (and ship soon to us both)

+1, would like to hear your thoughts on the AIM BCG

I saw that sale too and ordered one in case the ICE one never shows
(but ICE will come through... staying positive)

                      My order number is 9445.
I want to file a claim with the credit card company before time runs out.
I think I have 120 days, but I'm not waiting that long, especially when I can get an AIM NiB .308 BCG for the price I paid for this Ice arms phosphate one.

Its not even the money. It's the fact that I don't know what, when, where my order is. No response is the same as saying FU to a customer.

A simple email explaining why an in-stock item hasn't shipped in 3 weeks would have been ok. I wouldn't have even posted in this thread.

But acting like I don't exist after taking my money is a slap in the face.

So they had seemingly 225 orders in the two weeks in between our orders... That is not a lot of individual orders if you are systematized well, if you are not - then it is a Huge number.

                          Update.

After my rant last week, I received a tracking number as I was getting ready to file the chargeback this morning..

It was shipped out on 3/28.

I just got the package in the afternoon.
Funny, for weeks I send emails and get one reply that I'll get a reply and get nothing.
Then today get tracking and get the package too.

Everything looks ok. I can't test out the .308 BCG for a while, but it looks ok, just like my DPMS one.

I still don't understand why they couldn't have just sent me an email and a timeline. I wouldn't have been p*ssed off and wouldn't have ranted.
I was ready to order a barrel to try out too.
But after this experience I won't order from them again, unless I see that their customer service improves.

Like I said, just a simple reply saying the BCG is delayed. Not that hard.

After that whole Red Rock Ordnance fiasco, I'm not very trustworthy of smaller shops. It sucks but that's the way it is.
To gain that trust, you've got to be willing to go that extra bit with customer service, it won't hurt and can only help your business.

Glad to hear that you got yours, mine arrived yesterday and it's gorgeous. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks Ice...

And word to the wise, be patient.
You will only worry yourself in the meantime.
