80% lowers require a ATF designation letter. Since this takes time we decided to leave an extra drill operation out so that we could provide customers with lowers sooner than later. The extra hole can be drill out quickly ( I have had people tell me the extra 30 seconds to drill the hole was painless), and easily using a Blue Jig. For those using another manufactures Jig, or older Blue Jig, we include a small drill jig that fits into the mag relase hole.

Why not make a 79% lower? Have the holes half-way pre-drilled for us.

Sold the 80%'s that I FINALLY got from Ares that were all blemished, walked into Elemental Arms and walked out the same day with 5 lowers and a jig, went back a few days later and got a 6th one. Very happy with What I got. Way cool guys. Great, rapid communication, I am very lucky to have these guys 5 minutes from my house.
