Just looked at the big 5 online ad, saw the CCI but not the Federal. Which of the 2 brands is better?

There were some initial range and ammo reports on the GSG-5 to see which ones jammed or caused problems. I suppose I could just "pick one" but I thought someone might have some constructive feedback.

Both of those brands of .22 will serve you fine. Get which ever one you can get for cheaper.

Is the Blazer bulk pack the same as the blazer that comes in the individually packed 50 rounds boxes?

Hard call from a distance being as two firearms one off the line right after the other will react differently with bullets from the same box.
              Sometimes dramatically.
I have a Ruger MKII bull that loves CCI lead.
I have a buddy whose bull tosses the same bullets all over the target.
My Ruger doesn't like Remington Golden Bullets.
              His does.
I have a 10/22 that liked one lot of stingers making little cloverleaves and threw a pattern with a newer lot that looked like a shotgun had been there.

Walmart has the Federal 550ct for 11.xx Just picked up 6 boxes a couple days ago. Seems to be the regular price. Remington same count had gone up $2 to $13.xx within 5 days. When I went back this last time to pick up more Remington the counter lady said the new prices have just been posted, hence I bought some Federal instead.

Not sure if those are the set prices for Federal or if they are going up too.

I think sports authority has winchester boxes for $10 all the time ( 500 rds or so). The super X .22lr. I like it. its a little slower that the CCI and federal, but I can also say that for me... it is the most consistent of the three.

Plus, in the right light, I can actually SEE the bullet fly down and hit the target... kind of fun

Indeed we usually keep a steady stock of those. There were some recent ammo markups so I will check that out later this week to see the current price of the WWB .22
