The Ultimate Bilateral Magazine Lock Gen II(UBML) is a revolutionary new device and the latest innovation from Thordsen Customs LLC. California AR-15 enthusiasts can now have complete ambidextrous control of their firearms and for the first time right handed shooters can, through the use a tool, perform efficient tactical magazine changes with their Bullet Button AR-15.
Our "patent pending" UBML is a lever and fulcrum system that pivots on a modified magazine catch and post manufactured exclusively for Thordsen Customs LLC. The UBML unit itself is manufactured at our facility using top quality American made 6061 T6 billet aluminum and complimented by a beadblast finish and mil-spec type III black anodize plating. Our mounting hardware is all high grade steel with a tough black oxide finish.
The UBML is designed to be compatible with mil-spec or equivalent forged lower receivers which comprise 80% or more of AR-15 rifles currently in circulation. The UBML is compatible with all manufacturers of standard bullet button and all ambidextrous bolt catch devices such as a B.A.D. lever.
