I went by I&S today and was surprised to see they had 4 or 5 used Sig P228's on consignment. Through the glass they appeared to be in excellent shape. The prices ranged from $650 to $700. Not cheap but these pistols are very hard to find in the Bay Area. You can always offer a lower price.
Several P38's and Browning Highpowers on consignment as well, didn't see prices.
They also had an excellent condition Chinese SKS with a military contract serial number for $350.
