The legal/paperwork process of making the AR pistol you purchase from us into an AOW is free.

its pretty simple, you buy the AR-pistol host gun, and EBR will AOW it for you for free. You'll need to submit the Form 4 paperwork which will take 4-6 months, but once it comes back approved, you'll have an AOW AR-pistol.

Yes, that's a required component of a rifled bore AOW.

So, to be clear, we take possession of the AR pistol within 10 days after regular DROS, you submit the paperwork, and once it's all said and done, we can at that time put the foregrip on the AR pistol which is in our possession and then turn it from our legally owned AR pistol into a Class III AOW?

Or does everything stay in your store for 4-6 months and we get to pick up the AR pistol with foregrip installed as a complete AOW after all is said and done?

Scenario #2 is correct: We manufacture the gun as an AOW via a form 2 which requires no ATF approval. The form 4 is submitted with your info and we wait for ATF approval. Once the form 4 is approved, the gun is run through DROS and 10 day wait. You then take delivery.

If you wanted to do a form 1 yourself, scenario #1 would work, but the stamp would be $200 out of your pocket.
