This just in...
Our featured gun today is a wonderful series 70 Colt Combat Government .45ACP that has only been slightly bastardized. unfortunately someone saw fit to add a beavertail safety and a skeletonized hammer to this otherwise gorgeous Combat Government, so instead of being a fine collector's piece, it is now a prime candidate for a custom build. The trigger and sear have also been replaced, I believe, and the gun is currently "non-functional" as the hammer does not cock consistently when racking the slide. All this aside, this is a beautiful series 70 Colt that is just dying to be customized. It is mostly original with beautiful original blueing and a proper Colt magazine. The high profile rear and patridge front sights are original Colt features on this gun. the grips are not, but at least they are "Colt" grips with the medallions. (these guns came with "Colt" Pachmayrs I beleive). If you are planning a build or like to tinker with 1911's, then this gun is for you.
