LAPD UPR / Metro officers with certs can purchase the above models for providing dept letterhead from the CO of the LAPD Training Group. These letters provide the officer with exemption from the DROS 10 day waiting period, but does not exempt them from complying with CA DOJ regulations regarding DROS submission. *
Special lowered prices starting at $1150 plus tax and DROS and up for a complete factory rifle w/ California compliant mag locked & 30/10rd mags. ** Officers that receive the DOJ letter of registration for AW at a later date, may then convert them to full on AW per state law. Remember, the officers must wait until AFTER receiving the DOJ AW registration letter to make them into duty AW - 12276 & 12280 PC.
Other LAPD officers & civilians may also purchase these mag locked, 10rd mag rifles as well complying under CA compliant rifles: Harrott vs. Kings County, 12276 PC, 12276.1 PC. **
Prices slightly higher due to 10 day waiting period & additional paperwork.
* Only LAPD UPR Cadre and Metro division officers w/ current certs can purchase at the low LAPD rate as they will pick up at the same time the DROS is initiated 12280 PC. Other LAPD, LEO or civilians can purchase at a higher rate due to additional handling and 10 day DROS waiting period.
** Peace officers with credentials are required for purchase of high capacity magazines. High capacity magazines by peace officers can not be used/inserted into a non AW rifle.
We only carry non listed / non AW rifles for sale - these are civilian compliant.
Please don't ask for the Bushmaster or Colt 6920 from us as they are listed Kasler/SB23/Roberti AW and not allowed for sale in CA unless the dealer has an AW permit.....
