The kit includes the demilled barrel and torch cut receiver.
The DPM entered service with the Russian Army late in WWII.
It supplemented and then replaced the DP-28's that were in service.
It was the standard ground forces machinegun for Communist Armies well into the 1970's.
This is the later Degtyarev that features a pistol grip, improved drive spring system and high mounted folding bi-pod.

We carry magazine carriers, accessory kits and pan magazines for the Degtyarev.

The Polish DPM part set that APEX sells is not a firearm and doesn't have to be transferred thru a licensed dealer.
Regarding the torch cut demil receiver, ProjectGuns (loctated in Florida), Wise Lite Arms (WLA) and Smith Manufacturing Group (SMG) (both located in Texas) built semi-auto Degtyarev magazine fed rifles using these parts sets and the torch cut receivers. I believe SMG and ProjectGuns are still doing this work.

According to the article in the ShotGunNews, Green Mountain Rifle Barrel of Vermont made Degtyarev barrels under contract for Century Arms.

Some time back I read a post where a rechambered BREN barrel was to be permanently fitted into a Degtyarev semi-auto?
Does anyone know how that effort went?
