Wanting to check into this, I ran across 3 different Mossbergs with "tactical" in their names. Which one are you talking about?

I'm going to assume the OP is talking about the 702 Tactical .22LR semi-auto (AR looking rifle), which is on sale at Turner's in their Fall ad for $239.

The other Mossbert 'tactical' long guns are all shotguns, and there's nothing under $300 for that.

big 5 usually has 500A's with extra 24 or 28 inch barrel + a 18 or 20 inch

Is the 22LR Mossberg Tactical any good? I've heard mixed review on it...that it feels cheap..but I also heard it shoot true.

I just got one a couple months ago. So far so good. I have only shot it a couple times but no problems. Shoots well, out about 300 rounds through it without a single issue.

Build quality is ok. Definitely doesn't feel like a true AR. But makes shooting a .22 a little more fun. Put a cheap red dot sight and fore grip on mine. And did it all without going into debt

If you are looking for a fun .22, I recommend it.
