So what kind of receiver are these built on? It looks like the barrel is pinned, not threaded, is this correct.

BB should work. I think the milled ones have a block in the back of the magazine release like the yugos. So you would have to cut the tab out to romanian specs if you want to use a mag lock.

Vector AK's

I spoke with Vector and these are made with Bulgarian parts kits which are very nice. Vector uses Armory USA receivers. These have the bayonet lug and do come with the slant muzzle break.

You can use the Monster Mag AK grip as well instead of the Bullet Button. They have under folders in the non milled versions but the rifle needs to be 30" for California and folded it will be < 30"

i checked global/ Armory USA site and they only offer stamped recievers.
either way i would like to own a milled AK
