Kilt Group Buy (San Diego) - $16.24-$18.24/each [CLOSED 5-21-11]

Do not reply to this thread if you are not in San Diego and/or will not travel to San Diego to pick up.

+$6 shipping per unit, may be a volume discount on shipping. I'll take cash on pickup. Just pledge your order below if your iTrader rating is 3 or more. There is no deadline on pledges other than ASAP, as we are competing with others for this screaming deal. I'll add you to the open order the instant I receive a thread notification with your desired quantity, size and style. All information I have has been provided, so please, no more questions.

They're poly cotton and poly viscose blends. Only the three unknown tartans and following sizes (likely tag sizes - the warehouse just threw up a bunch of info and doesn't want to be bothered with minutiae. They labeled all three as Black Watch tartans, when obviously they are not.) below, from a bankruptcy liquidation. Without any further information being provided to us, I assume all the lengths are too long and will need to be hemmed up.

    Styles:
    #1

    $16.24 regardless of size
Dual button closure on left and right front.
    Remaining: 5 in 30", 2 in 32"

    #2

    $16.24 regardless of size
Looks like a single buckle closure on left front. "Comes with 2 extra pins"
    Remaining: 4 in 30", 4 in 32", 4 in 34", 3 in 36", 3 in 38", 2 in 40"

    #3

    $18.74 regardless of size
Buckle closures on left and right sides. "Comes with 2 extra pins"
    Remaining: 1 in 30", 1 in 32", 2 in 34", 1 in 36", 2 in 38", 3 in 40"

3 members in group buy so far.

Are these true measurements or fashion measurements?

Also, what's the lengths? #3 looks pretty long while #2 and #3 look a bit more traditional.

I don't have an iTrader rating, but I'm pretty respected on GunBroker and AuctionArms. (Flintlock Tom)
If you would allow me I would like to get in on a #1 in 38".

San Diego County group buy closed. Was notified that shipping will be any day now. I'll be updating OP numbers until the supplier runs out.

If you want to run a group buy for your own county, PM me for details.

That first photo in the OP is a Douglas- appears to be modern Douglas. I know Douglas, I wear it.

The last one looks like it might be the Afghanistan Campaign tartan, but I'm, not sure.
