Just picked up mine (PPT from another Calgunner) today, put a Solar Tactical wrap on it and ran for the range. It's so lightweight that not getting your hand around the grip isn't much of an issue and no BB to mess with. The one at Turner's must have a BB, note the lack of mag release paddle. The "iron" sights won't let you get the carbine's inherent accuracy out of it but a dot sight is all you'll need. Turner's price is an absolute steal!

There's a kit out there to make it accept M3 Grease Gun mags. Have to see if I still have mine somewhere.

I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Damn, I want a USC, but I'm in NorCal. Anyone ever buy from them and have it shipped? Was it simple as find an FFL and that's it? Also would that transfer fee be considered the bend over and take it fee?...or cheaper?

So damn tempting, I'm trying to focus on getting an USO SN-9, but I've always wanted one of these. Does any one know how much of a deposit is required to secure one, and who cares if they don't have them in stock, for a discount like this, its worth the wait!

You could still have four of the HighPoint .45 carbines at that price...

I think you have to pay in full. I'm assuming they are gathering people then order the USC.

I also think that HK is giving a 100 dollar rebate on the USC. I do not know if it has expire

Any limitations with this model? I assume you can put a scope on it? If the gun cut or drilled to get the bullet button installed?

You'll need to buy the top rail to put a scope on it. I believe the Raddlock is a replacement for the factory paddle release, no cutting or drilling.

Big limitation is mag capacity. Factory mags hold 10 and cost $50-60 each, Hera Arms makes an incredibly expensive 20-rounder, otherwise the way to decent (out of CA) mag capacity is an UMP or Grease Gun conversion.
