UPDATE BACK IN STOCK - American Eagle 223 520 rd $150 Shipped or lower at Cabela's

    UPDATE MARCH 15th -

American Eagle .223 55gr is back at Cabela's website.

Free Shipping using coupon code "2WFREE" on orders over $150

Last time price was $5.49, this time it is $5.79, so slightly more, but still a great deal if you don't have to pay tax.

If you use Plastic Jungle gift cards it could be even less, but they are sold out on most smaller amounts gift cards.

BUT....you can get a gift card from Plastic Jungle for 12% off....it's an "e-card", so you can use it right away.

Works out to free shipping at least

With my new S&W 15 I have been trying all types of manufactures and ran 300 rds of this ammo, American Eagle .223 55gr without any issues. For that matter, all that I have used has worked out well from PMC, REMINGTON, and FIOCCHI. Of course I need to dial my scope in to the different makes, but its never been that much adjustment needed. I also picked up a box of WINCHESTER 55gr Tin/Lead Free to try out if I ever decide to hunt the condor zone. Not something I want to shoot on a daily basics, a little pricey.
Prices have been all over the place. I was able to get my first 300 rds of Fiocchi from Midway for $17.49 a box of 50, but the price has jumped to $20.99. I wish I had grabbed a lot more at that price.
