Actually, there are no winners here. I don't get to purchase from you, you don't get my money or a new customer. It was never a game or contest. To me, "trying your hardest" would have included a little communication; a brief, to the point PM or phone call would have gone a long way. Not trying to beat any dead horses, really just trying to help you out so that maybe next time, with the next guy, you'll send that PM or make that phone call and not lose that sale or customer.
