Heads up to a great online LPK deal?

As the saying goes, I don't have a dog in this fight; I happened across this promo from Palmetto State Armory. It works out to roughly $25 for a new LPK after you subtract the typical cost for a MOE grip and trigger guard from the deal.
A good rifle build isn't cheap, but a bad one can be expensive!

My house; like the White House, is NOT a gun free zone!

Saw this. I ordered a standard kit with buttstock kit. For anyone who has ordered from Palmetto before...do they normally take 6 days to ship? It says 3-4 days "due to Holidays" (don't know how everyone else can ship next day and these guys are that swamped, but ok...) and it took 6 to go out and will take 8 days (UPS Basic) to get here. In early December I ordered a mag loader that no one else seemed to have, after 5 days I emailed asking for status and was told they were out and my money would be refunded. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift, and with less than a week til the big day when the news was broke to me, I had that going for me. Great prices, horrible service in my experience.
Fallujah had become a magnet for foreign jihadists and there were several thousand in the city who had come to make martyrs of themselves, to die while killing as many Americans as possibleAt each house I said a prayer, 'Please God get me out of this one.' When I come out of the house, I thank Him, light up a cigarette and move on to the next onesigpic

That's odd. Never had any problems with orders going out late with them.

Also an awesome place to buy ammo.

10 days for 2 lpk kits ,sent usps so no tracking number.they have a nice clean dark finish. the bolt catch is machined a little narrower at the pivot pin than stag or dpms.they fit in the jd / spikes lowers w/o any filing as they are usually a little tight.i have used stag, dpms, doublestar, armalite ,rr kits and now will be using the palmetto kits for price and quality.

single stage mil spec triggers all pretty much feel the same.grip size width and reach makes a dramatic difference equal to brand of manufacture.if your on a budget polish the engagement surfaces and add a -25 wolf spring till you get some extra bucks. 1/2hour and 5 bucks.

I googled the wolf spring, so I think I get that part; but could you please elaborate on polishing the engagement surfaces?

I heard DPMS triggers were grittier than usual. Not really looking to mod my milspec trigger. I like mine just fine, but I'll get my geiselle soon enough

Got my LPK in the mail today. 10 days seemed like forever but I guess it's not too long of a wait.
