how will i know if it will fit my barrel? how do I measure it?

Thanks! This will go great for my new precision AR build along with a BB and BB release kit.

This block will fit your barrel if it's not pencil thin (.625) or a bull barrel (.925) I think those measurements are correct. .750 is the most common barrel diameter you'll come across. You can try taking a ruler and measuring the diameter or wrapping a string around your barrel and measuring the circumference. If you use the string method, don't forget to divide by 3.14159

A decent pair of calipers is a good item to add to your toolbox. A simple dial caliper from Home Depot can be had for around $12 - $15. The digital ones are cool though, if you want to spend a little more. The string divided by pi method is definitely cheaper
