I am very happy with the full target set from John.

I am very happy with the full target set from John. The quality of these targets are first rate. These are the best constructed AR500 steel targets I have ever seen. The workmanship on the welding and metal forming is 1st class. John was willing to do a FTF for the delivery, which saved me the shipping cost. Hope to get out and shoot these when the weather gets better.
      Thanks Big Johns Iron Works

Sweeeet...do these create a spark when hit with .223? Would love a swinger but Burro Canyon doesn't like metal targets in the dry season.

No spark with lead core ammo.

No spark with lead core ammo. Hitting these AR500 targets with .223 and other lead core ammo hardly makes a mark. These target plates will last forever. I am very happy with my purchase, and you could be too.

What distances are you shooting at with .223?

                    50-400 yards.

50-400 yards. I have and old set on AR500 plates. The target stangs were made of wood mainly. The stands would never hold up. The plates seem to last. With these new stands and plates from "Big Johns Iron Works" it makes life so much easyer not having to rebuild/fix the stands all the time.. The design is well thought out.

                      Its 24" tall x approx. 12" wide.

                      Its 24" tall x approx. 12" wide, with a 6" x 3/8" thk. round AR500 plate. Should work well at 200+ yards.

Really interested to see the armored bronze bearing vs the cheaper hole and bar design.
