New Gun Store in Burbank

The old Gun World Burbank location? I hope you guys don't loose your FFL like those guys did. I know the whole story behind why they lost it!

Welcome to Calguns I'm very happy another shop is opening up that's close by. Being on Calguns will definitely give you a birdseye view of what over the top enthusiast are looking for.

I always felt that opening up a location in Burbank (for whom ever would do it) was a no brainer because Gun World in Burbank is about as expensive of a gunstore as you can get. Their prices are "LITERALLY" 20 to 50 percent above suggested retail, and let me tell you, it seems that business is always booming there. They get really nice stuff there too, but prices are so far out of whack it's unbelieveable. If you keep your prices reasonable, give an awsome deal to 1st time buyers, I'm sure you'll pick off alot of their customers, which will force them to come back to earth with their prices (which may be too late). Once the average gun owner see's how badly they've been overpaying at Gunworld, you'll get some loyal customers for sure (imo).

It is good to have the store open. I visited often - never bought anything - like somebody had mentioned prices were beyond ridiculous.
BTW: I am on the market for cz97 - somehow I managed to miss Turners special on them...... if you will have one as "open special" you got yourself a customer.....

However, it's good to know that I have two stores to go to now! I talked with the owner of Aegis and got a pretty good idea of what it takes to get that FFL and how hard it is to start a gun shop in general. I applaud your sticking with it! For those of you asking how much it's going to cost to get a gun transferred from another store or online, give Gunsdirect a chance to find you the gun through his shop. If you find a smokin deal online, then fine. However, if you want these stores to stick around, give them business. Just remember, you have to pay the FFL fee, DROS and Tax (and sometimes shipping) on the gun anyway.

Agreed 100%, they sell guns too and we should always look to buy local and keep these guys around for a long time
