Thought it was about time I formally introduced myself to the CALGUNS community. My business Johnson Tactical Rifles specializes in building customized AR15's, AR10's, preforming shop services, and providing some of the best accessories around. I use a fully equipped machine shop to build highly reliable carbines and very accurate SPR's. All of my SPR's feature barrels that are chambered and fitted in house.

JTR Battle Carbine 1.0 Upper --Introductory Sale!
The JTR Battle Carbine 1.0 is my base carbine offering designed for extreme use. The intent of this design is to offer a very light weight, extremely reliable, carbine or short barreled rifle (SBR). The base model includes:
* A forged A4 upper with laser etched T-Marks, M4 feed ramps that are polished and aligned with the barrel extension ramps
* Bravo Company Bolt Carrier Group offering MPI/HPT tested and shot peened bolt, crane extractor reliability upgrades, lapped and properly staked carrier key with polished gas tube interface
* A Daniel Defense 16, 14.5, 12.5, or 11.5 inch cold hammer forged and chrome lined barrel in 1/7 twist, carbine length gas system are all options for no additional cost! I also offer mid-length and light weight combos for around $30 dollars extra.
* Pinned Noveske gas block
* Also includes a Troy TRX Extreme 9, 11, or 13 inch rail. Daniel Defense Rail Upgrades Available
* Comes standard with a A2 flash hider. Optional upgrades include a Battle Comp 1.0, KX3, Vortex, or Vortex striker

So what makes this carbine upper standout?
As with every JTR upper, each one is completely tested prior to shipping and feature my in house reliability mods. I also preform a number of polishing tasks that make these uppers feel like glass.
These uppers are guaranteed for life! If it breaks, I'll fix it. I guarantee these barrels to 30K rounds.
To compliment this upper, I also offer a completion lower package that can be customized to you specific needs.
If you compare my uppers to other available you'll notice that I've incorporated the most reliable features at an excellent price:
1. Each bolt and barrel is High Pressure tested and Magnetic Particle inspected.
2. The base carbine barrels are chrome lined, use Mil-Spec steel, and are Cold Hammer Forged
3. All of the carbine barrels are parked under the gas block to insure high levels of corrosion resistance
4. All of my uppers feature gas port sizes that designed to run a very wide selection of ammo in a large range of atmospheric pressure ranges.
5. Personally assemble each bolt carrier group, lapping the carrier key, polishing the gas tube interface, and properly stake the key screws. They also feature Crane O-Rings and Chrome Silicon extractor springs.
6. Each upper is tested on a rifle lower and carbine lower using both a H-Buffer and Standard buffer to insure proper function. Testing also includes a low gas range and high gas range to insure proper function with a wide variety of ammo.
7. Each upper is built personally by me and they are all guaranteed for life.
8. The build process includes lapping the operating system. This makes for one of the smoothest running carbines available and also increases reliability.
A good deal of my guns are currently in use by local tactical teams and individual officers. My guns must work every single time. I take that same approach with every upper that leaves the shop.
