I just saw this earlier while I was ordering some 556 and 9mm, I may end up buying a couple to have on hand.

I need to call Palmetto though, I am a little confused about what it says at the add to cart area.

"By clicking add to cart, you are stating that you are 18 years of age and do not live in a state, county or region that prohibits the purchase or shipment of high cap magazines"

I have never bought anything from them besides ammo

Edit* It also says that for other items, ie stripper clips... which i have purchased in the past. hmmm

This is a question, not a thread crap.

I've always wondered with these "hey, this shop sells lowers for $70, $80, or whatever", how is it really that great of a deal? The reason I ask, is because once you get dinged for shipping, and every FFL I've ever heard of charges like $50 for a transfer, is it really that great a deal, or am I missing something here? $70 for the lower plus $50 for an FFL transfer fee, that's already $120, tack on $10 for shipping and you're at $130 for a lower, sure it technically beats some of the better local deals on lowers at like $140, but not by much...

Or is it that because you're buying 2+ at a time you end up saving a few more bucks in the long run?

Depends on your FFL some chage high transfer rates some don't. But yea true it does kill the deal if you have high FFL cost.
