    AR15 Broker/Rifle Broker Bad Experience

I posted up in the Centerfire rifles section about my experience with these guys. I've tried to call them every 5 minutes starting at 0600 this morning (they're in Florida) everytime it goes to voice mail. I've e-mailed multiple times as well...no response. Stay away from any dealings with this company. My YHM-7810 upper was supposed to have YHM flip up sights on it, it came with who knows what, I e-mailed a pic to YHM and they said it's not their sights, so it looks like their trying to rip me off. Anyone know if I have any recourse through my CC company?

I'm pretty sure you can get some or all of your money back from the credit card company because it was not what you payed for and it sounds to me fraud on the company part to do a switch on a product you thought you were buying without your consent.

call your credit card company and tell them they did not send you what you paid for and they refuse to reply to your emails and phone calls. if your bank is anything like mine you'll have your cash back in 72 hours.

Well they finally answered their phone and I spoke with "Sam" the owner, he said ship the sights back and he'll make it right. Guess I have to send them back on my dime, seems like a fly by night outfit. Do I trust them and send just the sights back, or ask for a refund from my CC company? Really wanted this for my son who is going in the Army, and it's been nothing but a hassle from the start.

I would tell them its their f up. They need to send the correct ones first.

              Stay away from YHM.

I think they just hired a bunch of monkeys or something.

The last few uppers I have seen from them all had problems.

              No fire pin retaining pins.

My favorite was the brand new upper with the gas tube installed (jammed) upside down.

Well, I sent the fixed sights back at my expense, asked for some kind of compensation like an extended release pin set or cleaning kit ($10 value items). One week later I actually got the flip up sights...nothing else, not an apology or credit or anything for my trouble. I had to call them, and ask where the sights were, again no response to any e-mails I sent. I won't buy from them again, spend your money with a "Calguns" certified vendor ie visit this forum and AR15.com for recommendations...not worth trying to save a couple bucks in the long run.

Just curious...why did you buy the rifle for your son because he's entering the Army? I'm just looking at the obvious-they provide all the firearms..

Yes, I bought it for him because he's joining the Army, and I wanted him to have more range time with a weapon system similar to what he'd be using. That and I'll get to use it while he's away for training, and it's his birthday present.

Hey guys, been a while..I've been in the field working a lot the last few months, look what I got from Rifle-broker.

                      Dear Mr dexter

We did read the comments posted on Calguns, you did not even state the

facts, and you defiantly neglected to mention that we did replace the
wrong parts,if you weren't happy with the product you should have returned and bought else were. We will take legal action against you for defamation and cost of loss of business.

                      Sincerely

                      Management

I did actually receive the correct sights (my expense shipping them back and no compensation at all~2week turn around, however, the rifle shot crooked ie the barrel and receiver not aligned properly. So it was apparently not assembled correctly, and the barrel was offset in the handguard. Since their return policy states "no returns within 7 days of purchase" and from the time they charged my credit card and I actually received what I ordered was way more than this time frame...more like a month+, I decided to send it back to the manufacturer directly, and not deal with this guy anymore...can you guess why? Make your own decision on where you make your purchases. Maybe this was a one time glitch maybe not.

YHM does stand behind their products, they made it right.

Yeah I noticed that a poster above said to stay away from them (YHM) which I'm guessing they were confused about the place you actually ordered the item from. I have had great experiences with YHM and like their product.

LOL, defamation? Power of the internet. U gave your honest opinion of what transpired. Nothing more , nothing less. Keep us posted on any updates.

If he disputes the charge back saying you never sent the item back for replacement and you can't prove you sent them back by a postal receipt they will place the charge back on your account.
You have to prove you sent the sights back or this will come back to haunt you.

I had a police officer in Washington state tell his CC company the $1500.00 charge on his card was not him.
This guy almost went to jail and he was suspended for 30 days by his Chief.
