What I think has the most potential for straight up mall ninja flavor are the SD1 and SD2 models. First the SD1 is a 1/2"x28 thread for just about every 5.56mm barrel out there. I put the 6" on my Stag Model 3H floor model and even without a free floated rail, I really, really liked it. The other nice thing about these babies are they are really light!
The only thing is if you go with the 8", you are going to have to get a micro gas block.
Then the SD2 models are for your 1/2"x36 9mm builds. The nice thing about those is there is no gas block so you could just pop off your front sight, put on a free floater, and bam! You have an MP5SD clone out of your AR15. As soon as funds allow, I will be doing this! Can you say tax write off and lets do it this weekend!
