Yeah mine were packed like that too but they were still stacked. So far the Blazer 45 ACP is good clean ammo. I think I am going to try to find more of these in the future.

Yea all I know was that my boxes were all screwed up when I got them. The UMC 250 megapacks were all pretty robust, and since there were only 3/4 in each big ole box it wasn't a big deal. I had a couple of thousand 22LR floating around because they shipped them in boxes of 8 and they just acted like nice in the boxes as they arrived to my house. The packing tape on a couple of them were in bad shape on the outside of the boxes.

You guys might want to check your credit card statements. I was charged the full price without the discount code applied. I called in and the woman at CS applied the appropriate credit back. Gander Mountain CS ALWAYS has the nicest and easiest people to deal with when I call. Never had such consistent good service from anywhere else. Not to mention the free shipping and no tax. I love this place.

i think those we used it early got the discount, but those that ordered later got charged the full amount probably due to the amount of orders using that code, which the CS rep told me was only given out to a select few individuals.

but they did let me have the discount though.

They will try to tell you all kinds of BS that the coupon code was not valid but if you are persistent they should honor the deal. I had to threaten to speak to the supervisor of the customer service rep I was speaking to before they agreed to honor the discount and credit my card for the discount amount.

I will echo what others have said about their shipping department being borderline incompetent in their packing of bulk ammo. My order had every 3 boxes of 50 wrapped together with saran wrap and put loosely into a large box with some paper stuffing. It all shuffled around during shipping and at least 1/3 of the boxes were deformed. What I've shot so far works and the price was right, so no big deal.

I would call Gander first before you dispute it with your credit card company. They have honored the deal for everyone else on this thread who had the same issue. No reason to think they won't do right by you.

They scored a lot of points in my book for honoring this deal, which was probably pretty painful for them to do.

I wouldnt say they honored the deal willinglly. They practically tried to pull a fast one by charging the full amount without notifiing the customers and shipping out the items (in substandard packaging). They only adjusted the price because customers noticed through thier bank account (even though the emailed invoice has the dicounted amount).

So thumbs downs for them, but a thumbs up for that great deal they had.

I put the dispute as a backup. The CC won't do anything until they investigate. I just finished an online chat with Gander. They wanted the code that I used plus the email confirmation that I received that showed the discount that was applied. The CS (Kevin) apologized and said a credit would be issued. I would order from the Gander again. Very good Customer Service. I need to contact my CC again and cancel the dispute.
