    Pistol grip from horn,bone...

    I have a plan to made an grips from buffalo bone and carving by hand, but i want to know what the people in USA feel about them?
    This is my buffalo bone




    So, after 2 days...i have 4 pair unfinished pistol grips from buffalo bone yellow,white ,black horn and white horn.







    Another image when i do , they don't finish.




    Also, i miss a marble horn and will capture image again

    This is my marble horn,just finished in today




    Today i was finished .All of them polished by hand and 3 time.
    -1 and 2 by emery-paper (400 and 800 emery-paper)
    -3 by this:





    Colt 1911A1 made of water buffalo black horn (Don't have vein or little)

            I used to have handicraft business in the Philippines and made a lot of items made from water buffalo horns the main complain received from customer was the shrinkage of horn as it ages.If you can provide or guarranty this material use will not deform or shrink as it age then I might be interested to distribute this here.Let me know.pm to reach me.

            You seen serious problem:
            Horn will shrink or deform depending on the part which you use!They have cheaper prices because they not use tip horn--the hollow part of horn will shrink or deform! Because they press it to big part and produce grips!

            1.Your items buy form Philippines made from don't use tip.
            2.My grips produce as correct every detail,special in two hole!It will not shrink or deform!

                    I wonder if there's any concerns about these from a perspective of importing animal parts? Hope not, some of those are just beautiful, my favorite are the marbled ones. Too bad I don't have a 1911 to put them on.

                            Laser can not work in real horn and bone... i tested in Vietnam.Also,may be i use your machine to produce another material.

                            Your country (USA) allow to import this product.I will have more model than 1911 colt...I 'm still waiting some grips from some customer in USA whom want me reproduce in this material for their gun.
