    NRA Lifetime Memberships $300

    This is last minute. I thought I had lost the form, but just found it. As an endowment member, I am allowed to sign up family members for $300 life memberships. Unfortunately, this is very last minute as the offer expires 1-31-2010. Also, it states family and says nothing about friends. If anyone wants to contact the NRA to see if it applies to friends, I will pass along whatever information is required to get you signed up.

    If anyone has experience with this and wants to chime, it would be appreciated.

    Hello Cousin Raven
    It has been a long time since we talked at the last family reunion. LOL, Just Kidding.

    It is great of you Raven to put this out there to help fellow members. I would love to take you up on the offer, if anyone knows how to make this work. thanks once again for your kindness.

      wow, I thought the 500 offer I got was good! 300 is a killer deal, does it come with all the trimmings(gifts, certificate, etc etc)? The offer I got ends on the 31st as well, I just don't have the extra funds at the moment.

          many members here have taken advantage of this offer in previous years. NRA doesn't check family status, there's no blood test involved.

              So what is needed from me for people to take advantage? Do they just need my membership number and they themselves call and apply? That would be the easiest, as I really do not feel like making the payments and having to deal with collecting funds, especially at this price.

              --------------UPDATED--------------
              I just got off the phone with the NRA. Since these are "gift" memberships, I am the one that needs to pay initially. I would require you to pay via PayPal or Gunpal (preferred). I would then call the NRA and give them your information (basic info - i.e., name, address and phone number). You can then call them later and update your info with whatever you wanted.

              Two people have already sent me PM's. I will go ahead and help out 4-6 at this point. It might look a little odd if I am signing up a dozen cousin's uncle's sister's brother's little brother.

              At this point, my quota is full. Two via PM, LtMike70, coma and Call_me_Tom. If you five are still a go, shoot me your info via a PM and send the required funds via PayPal (anti-gun) or Gunpal (preferred). Make sure to factor in whatever I get charged with:

              Gunpal - For Personal Accounts:
              * 2.8% + $0.30 for all transactions

              PayPal
              * 2.9% + $0.30 for all transactions

              I hate to actually have to collect this, but we are talking about $9 per transaction. I love my extended family, but that would be $45.

                  I did this last year and signed my brother up. It's a great deal.

                        Closed for now. I have 10 family members to sign up. PM's have all been sent. As soon as funds hit from each person, I will call the NRA. Glad I could help out.
