I was just over there today and they still have quite a few boxes of em' fed xm's-wayy over priced-as most stuff in the store is. But what poor customer service some of the guys behind the gun counter. I waited for over 15mins as I wanted to take a look at a g21sf and xd compact but the morons was too busy chattin' away with bs with some other customers. I was the 2nd in line but the customers that came in after me was helped out even with me standing there browsing the handguns. So much for that, I'll be taking my money somewhere else this tax season. Oh, and listening to one of the employees behind the counter explain to a customer that a 9mil loaded with "corbon loads" "is more powerful than a 357 mag". I just chuckled to myself and left.

...true! They lack customer service skills and aren't too knowledgeable on California off-list lowers also.

Caution! avoid verbal altercation with them you are dealing with idoits behind the gun counter.

I prefer to deal with Gary at the Stockton Gun Exchange even though they are smaller with less selection.

stockton needs a black rifle store. gary doesnt deal anything that looks like a black rifle. But the few times Ive been in the store he has always a pleasure to deal with.

True, they still have a ca legal blocked magwell bushmaster on the shelf that's been there since like 3+yrs ago. I remember way back when I spoke to em' about oLL's and the looked at me like I didn't have a clue what I was talking about and "No it's still illegal" was their answer. They do have a gsg-5 and a few dedicated .22lr AR's but with a heavy price tag.

Barnwood has some S&W MP15-22lr on the shelf, some what looked Bushmaster Carbon 15s that I really don't think will sell, ATI AK-47 in 22lr, 10/22 complete with Archangel stock, lots of Benneli's. They also have several AR-15 complete upper halfs hanging on the wall.

Just be careful there too....I was lied to about an OLL transfer and told they dont do it even though I was told it was a 100 dollar transfer fee....AFTER I ordered the lowers from spikes (they only sell $299 generic stripped lowers) spikes called to get their FFL info and was told they dont do it, so I called down and was told that I received bad info and that the salesperson I was dealing with part time "didnt know ****" even though he had sold my family 4 guns within the past month....im very upset with them right now and it was very F..ed up of them to be like that. Just an FYI
