like others have said, its pretty light and thin, and uses a key. i wouldn't trust it with my guns but ill trust it with my ammo.

Got one of these myself. The $158 being advertised now is a lot cheaper than what I paid. It's really a 3 rifle safe. Great for keeping the kids out, but not much more. I think everybody who considers this should be under no illusion about what they are getting. It won't protect against fire, flood or a reasonably persistent thief, but the quality is good and it's light enough to move around to the most accesble place in the house - which is why I bought mine.

A lot of those accidental shooting (mostly by children) can be prevented by the proper use of this $180 safe.

It is a locker alright. Mine arrived broken. The metal beam that goes from top to bottom on the door was not welded / glued right. Now the problem I'm gonna have is returning it back to Amazon. Their policy requires original packaging but mine came with half a box. The other half was tore up. Any suggestions?

Depending on where your located my arrived with a good box.

Got mine today. Kind of small barely fits 3 rifles. But better then under the bed. Nice temp safe (for the price) till I can save up for a huge one, then this becomes an ammo locker.

What kind of ammo is that next to the safe? Can you put some ammo boxes in the safe and take a picture so we can have an idea of how much ammo would fit?
