The pinacle of bullet button tool for the AR lover "REDO"

THIS THREAD IS CLOSED!! Please refer to our new thread: "The Ulitmate Bullet Button Tool".
Other updates: This bullet button tool now has "PATENT PENDING " status.

    Thanks!!

    Thordo

Rather than continue my previous thread, I've decided to start over again. Hopefully I get it right this time. Sorry for any confusion (I'm new at this).

Thordsen Customs has developed a new "magazine removal tool" for bullet button ARs, and will be it debuting at the Cow Palace Gun Show on January 16-17.

No more keeping a bullet or other tool in your pocket and/or dropping it at the worst possible time, no more stabbing yourself with a pin on your finger, no more getting your gnads wacked by a tool attached to a retractable chain (ladies excepted). And most importantly, no more scratching your baby!!

This magazine removal tool mounts directly on the front of any stamped sheet metal or plastic magazine with a removable bottom cover. (by request, I'm also working on a solution for "pre ban" epoxied mags).

These are a "MUST SEE" for any bullet button AR user, and it's simplicity will BLOW YOUR MIND!!!

All research that I've done, as well as, feedback from some gun shop owners and contributors to the previous thread indicate that this tool is in complete compliance with the law.

Check out the pics and the demo video link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JaotF-n7gI

I'm not sure what booth we'll be at yet but I'll post it ASAP. We'll be bringing 4000 of them to the show and expect that they'll sell out fast!! We'll also be getting them posted on Ebay soon.

How is it attached ? Is it a sort of rubber band with the tool attached ?

            R&D CONTINUES

In response to "glock_this" in his reply on the old thread.

I shoot both right and left handed and reload lefty so its very natural for me. But in the interests of science, I also had my neighbor and employee (who are both right handers) try it. They could stay in shooting stance but had to tilt the gun slightly left to see the BB hole, reloaded with right hand, left hand firmly on fore end grip, and butt against shoulder. They were very comfortable with it after a few tries. Reload time, less than 3 seconds.

Bottom line is, come to the show and try it out!!

Keep the feedback coming, It makes good products better!!

Several days later the bolt was rusted shut but I guess the fouling wasnt TOO bad.

sure IF you do not have your mags built up and CA legal and sealed, thus, you have "kits". If not, and your talking sealed up 10rnd mags already, no real way to drill the hole and get inside access to slide the bolt in so as to thread it to the widget

You could probably make one that threads in from the outside into the mag. where the end hides the screw. Think along the lines of a furniture slider with threads instead of a nail.

I'll have to check these out at the show. If you come across my booth before I see yours, stop by! I'm usually set up next to the left of the "Round-Up".
