I'm in Prescott to see my parents a few times a year and usually stop in there. They're pretty friendly face to face, but are also pretty open about the fact that they really don't want to learn enough about our wacko laws to know what they can and can't sell into the PRK.

I have to confess, I can totally see how some good ol' boys in AZ could see our laws as just too strange to try to deal with... heck I live here and I feel that way often.

Friendly is cool but I would rather support a GS that is willing to take the time to edjucate themselves and sell to CA than one that won't

I've bought from them in the past but the last 2 years they have gotten really pissy about CA sales. Even C&R. When I finally objected the manager tried to give me a long speech about the need "give full faith and credit to the laws of other states". Right phrase, wrong applicability.

The post above said it best when he said "they really don't want to take the time to learn our wacko laws". That perfectly describes them. I know some people who tried to buy hicap mags face to face for use out of state and were asked for their DL and then denied b/c hi caps are illegal in CA.

Amateur lawyers are almost worse then the real thing.

Needless to say I have since taken my business to people who actually have a clue.

I tried to buy a Sig P6 from them. They refused to fax a copy of their FFL to my FFL dealer. End of deal.

great company--i've bought several *items* from them.
In fact, they delivered my Christmas present to self: 3k rounds of .223!
Single issue voting and the 'lesser-of-two-evils' mentality is what got us into this mess!
