    Billet 80% Lower Receivers.

We have a small quantity of 80% billet lower receivers. These are not a firearm as defined by the BATFE and do not require an FFL to purchase. Follow the link below to see pics and a description.

$109.99 + $9.99 flat rate shipping per order. They can be ordered through the website.

Do you still have to register these after making it 100%? What else needs to be done besides the obvious outer finishing?

This would make an interesting project.

      From their site:
Requires machining out the trigger pocket and drilling the trigger & hammer pin holes.

Registration is optional for a homebuild pistol. It's only required if you ever sell it. Similar for a rifle... no registration, but it will need to have some kind of manufacturer and serial number engraved for the 4473 if you ever sell it.

There's still a couple of "tricks" to keeping a pistol build legal.

You can Voluntarily Register it after you finish building it, if this is going to be built into a Pistol you should build it as a Single Shot first before making it a Semi-Auto Pistol

Must engrave some kind of info stating where it was made along with a model name and caliber. Basically the same kind of info you see on OLL's

I received mine today, very nice. I love the trigger guard, I'm making a hunting rifle out of this one.

I put mine in the CNCGUNS jig and it fit fine, but I'm waiting for my new TM jig to see if it will work, before I decide which to use.
