What have you heard? That's a pretty good price for a billet lower, almost too good. Do they ship to CA?The Model 610 was classified as the XM177[3] but adopted by the Air Force as the GAU-5/A Submachine Gun (GAU = Gun, Aircraft, Unit.) The Army purchased 2,815 Model 609 CAR-15 Commandos on June 28, 1966, which were officially designated Submachine Gun, 5.56 mm, XM177E1. - WikipediaComment

you can google it out or check the postings on AKfiles/gunco/gunboards etc.
IIRC, most issues were with order cancellation or no communication.
A long time ago, I ordered some Yugo and Romy parts from Centerfire, shipping was little slow, but got all my stuff eventually.Comment

Lame my bad I should have done a little more research! They usually put a line under the add that says "Will not ship to CA" but they do have CA rifles so it makes no sense. The newspaper add they send me every month has CA legal adds in it.Comment

People should send them an email regarding not shipping stripped lowers to CA. I am asking to be removed from their mailing list because of it. I would have a bought a few of those billet lowers (and an upper) to check them out. Oh well, they don't want my business.Comment
