So, 360 + tax is a good deal for 5.56 nowadays? I thought the price had dropped some, but I haven't really been paying much attention since I sold my AR.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with the 7.62 x 51 from Ammo Brothers? Thank you! Can't say much about the 5.56X45 Ammo. But I have used the 7.62X51 and out of 100 rounds I had a about 20 rounds which caused ejection problems jammed up the bolt so much, I had to either work the charging handle with force or wait for the chamber to cool before I could manually eject the shell in my bolt action. I used them in both Bolt Action and Semi Auto rifles. And compared to other 7.62X51 ammo they aren't as accurate as say Argentine or Pakistan surplus. I still have 15 rounds left which I'm afraid to use. I mean it could just be me but I'll never use this stuff againComment

NO ! there is cheaper you just have to look ,I've just seen some PMC for $329.00+ $12.00 for shipping for a 1000 rounds ,and wolf for $249.00+$12.00 for 1000 round"I will not buy ammo from the private ammo sellers,it only encourages them to keep buying ,and reselling the ammo they bought from WAL-MART at 2-3 times what they bought it for"!Comment

The $329 PMC is 55-grain (M193), not 62-grain (M855) - the 62-grain ammunition will always be more expensive than the 55-grain by virtue of the more expensive bullet. That said, the deal that Ammo Bros is offering Calgun.net members is a good one - new Turkish manufacture 62-grain-steel-core NATO spec for $349/990 rds = $0.35/round.
If you plan to go to a public range where brushfires are a concern, buy the 55-grain since steel core is verboten. For your fighting load, you're probably better served by the steel core penetrator in the 62-grain round.
Of course, YMMV.
