So, 360 + tax is a good deal for 5.56 nowadays? I thought the price had dropped some, but I haven't really been paying much attention since I sold my AR.

I used them in both Bolt Action and Semi Auto rifles. And compared to other 7.62X51 ammo they aren't as accurate as say Argentine or Pakistan surplus. I still have 15 rounds left which I'm afraid to use. I mean it could just be me but I'll never use this stuff again
Has anyone else had a similar experience with the 7.62 x 51 from Ammo Brothers? Thank you!

NO ! there is cheaper you just have to look ,I've just seen some PMC for $329.00+ $12.00 for shipping for a 1000 rounds ,and wolf for $249.00+$12.00 for 1000 round

The $329 PMC is 55-grain (M193), not 62-grain (M855) - the 62-grain ammunition will always be more expensive than the 55-grain by virtue of the more expensive bullet. That said, the deal that Ammo Bros is offering Calgun.net members is a good one - new Turkish manufacture 62-grain-steel-core NATO spec for $349/990 rds = $0.35/round.

If you plan to go to a public range where brushfires are a concern, buy the 55-grain since steel core is verboten. For your fighting load, you're probably better served by the steel core penetrator in the 62-grain round.

              Of course, YMMV.
