300 bucks isn't high these days. Find me a source that is retail, that has inventory and is significantly cheaper? I don't think you will. Online inventory is about the same right now as well. Natchez - over 300, Grafs, out of stock but 13 a box plus shipping, wideners has Wolf for 200 but again, out of stock and it's steel cased, Cabellas WWB 1200 for 350 shipped but out of stock, AE for 240 plus shipping so about 260. So is 300 that far off for the availability?

They don't have the buying power of a walmart and I am sure they are paying a lot more for shipping. We should support our local shops. If they were closer I would buy several boxes right now.

Thats funny cause I bought some WWB 100packs from Bass Pro and when I went to the gun show Miwall had them too. I know Miwall is a major distributor so I doubt that came from walmart and I don't think Bass Pro buys from Walmart either

Well Palmetto State Armory has Privi for $260 + 12 shipping. If you buy your $29/box WWB at retail in the Peoples republic, you still need to add on your 9.75% sales tax - so we're talking ~330 for 1K WWB. SO, Id rather pay ~270for higher quality ammo and wait a week than ~$330 to some ******* who's selling at exorbitant prices. Just because you can't find better deals doesnt mean everyone needs to get bent over the counter.

And WWB is NOT EXCLUSIVE to Walmart.

Edit: I dont know about you, but to me the savings from 4 cases from Palmetto State vice City Arms would pay for a whole new case in and of itself.

I think that's what a lot of people are doing. If you look at the WWB sales on Gunbroker.com you see it a lot. My local Walmart has a 6 item limit on ammo.
Maybe that needs to be changed to 2 boxes per customer so the rest of us have a chance to buy some. Think I write that letter now....

Then again, maybe that new bill limiting purchases to 50 rounds per month would stop all this BS.

How about limit to 10rds and base on need just like the CCW?

I was told recently by a knowledgeable person who works the Walmart sporting goods counter that it is illegal to sell ammunition in the state of California and that is why they don't sell any at that store.

i was told by a lady at wal mart that they get 45 all the time and had 2 or 3 cases in on monday.
