The "online" option has already started. You can register with Proxy Bid and bid away. Approx 1 hour before the start of the live auction on Sat 9-19 the internet option will pause until we actually start the "live" auction. For those who have registered at proxy bid a new screen will appear and you will hear the auction live. There will be a bid button so you can place bids along with the live audience at the auction. The live auction start price for the items will be at the last online bid price.

The difference between bidding live and on proxybid are the costs. There is a fee which is charged as an additional cost on top of the %12 buyers premium you pay when bidding in person. I think the additional amount is 5%. Go to the proxybid site and you can see the conditions and fees for the auction.

If you have any other questions call us at 626-914-7010 Or drop me a P/M.

I finished taking photos of all the firearms today, and they should be up to view online tomorrow.

If you are in the area and want to stop by and look at an item before the auction, just come on by.

I have been to the auction in person a couple of times prior to the online auction and have really enjoyed myself. I even bought a Marlin .30-30 there.

I never realized SVT-40, there was a Calgun member (you) involved with the auction. Pretty cool.

I haven't been to the last few, so I think it's time to go again.

It's an auction, so yes there could be some very good deals. We don't know what things will sell for. There are no reserves on anything except for some of the very high end shotguns. So the items will sell for what the high bid is.

I usually end up bidding myself on one or two items as I thought they were great deals.

The best part about the auction is it cost nothing to come and registration is free. So consider it a free gun show with around 350 guns to look at and play with.

We will also have some non cataloged items to sell at the end of the auction. They will only be available to bidders AT the auction who bid live. I can't say what they will be, but I'm sure they will be interesting!!

If you happen to attend the auction come up to the stage and introduce yourself. Ask for me (Jim)

              Hope to see you there.

Just so that I understand this right, there will be no more lots add to the Proxibid portion?

Let me get this right. 12% buyers premium, Sales tax, plus 5% internet adder. That comes to over 25% above bid price. So the $400 bid will cost apx $500.

The shipping costs are kinda high. If I win multiple items, and am not present at the auction, can I come pick them up the very next day and avoid the shipping fees?

BTW I have already bid on about 20 items.....

Tenbrook, yes you can do the paperwork at the shop in Glendora starting the Monday after the auction. If the item is a non FFL item you can pick it up the day of the auction or at the shop on Monday.

If you are a 01 FFL Monday is the earliest you can P/U due to the need for a CFLC letter being needed before you can P/U your items.

Regarding shipping fees Pistol's will be shipped via the USPS to 01 type FFL's and the prices will be substantially less than on the proxybid info. Also long gun shipping costs have been reduced.

Correct. be sure to plan your bidding accordingly so you don't go over your pre-auction price ranges.

If you can it's always better to attend the auction in person to avoid the 5% proxyBid fees. But If you can't then well just plan accordingly.

Are the handguns DROS'd as PPT's in CA? I'm wondering how it works for multiple handguns....

                              I'm reading it's a 20% buyer's premium for Internet bids.
