The lightest, purpose built, no compromise, production ultralight survival carbine just got better! It took years in R&D, engineering and multiple US Patents to create the most robust and reliable lightweight AR platform on the market. Building something this lightweight without sacrificing strength and performance is the ultimate secret of the BATTLEARMS OIP. Every component, shy of a few detents and springs, is custom built and designed to work together as a complete system. No parts gun here.

The OIP utilizes a patented OIP buffer system in conjunction with a lightweight titanium bolt carrier and ArmorTi finish for durability. It is balanced with a custom mid-length gas system and a specially designed titanium THUMPER compensator. OIP defies what logic would dictate from a lightweight rifle with recoil akin to a .22LR, shooting so flat that it can be fired single-handed. It is rigorously tested and proven to run reliably, even with our full-auto select-fire version!

New in Gen 3 is the user-configurable M-LOK carbon fiber handguard and a carbon-fiber pistol grip that weighs barely one ounce. A new titanium billet CNC machined bolt catch and a RACK Charging Handle are just a couple more of the new OIP upgrades. The patented, lightweight 7075-T6 billet aluminum receivers are not simply skeletonized and hollowed out but are carefully structurally engineered for ultimate strength and dependability.

Purpose-built around the forged WORKHORSE 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum receiver and free-float rail handguard with M-LOK attachment point at 3, 6, and 9 o?clock positions, every firearm is equipped with a 4150 chrome-moly steel black nitride barrel for durability and accuracy. Each barrel is individually head-spaced with a matching 9310 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier for ultimate reliability and ease of cleaning. The heart of the rifle is the billet BAD-GS 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum receiver and free-float rail handguard with M-LOK attachment points at 3, 6, and 9 oclock positions. At 12 oclock is a full-length Picatinny accessory rail with our signature notch cut matching the upper receiver. Every firearm is equipped with a 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel and 8620 steel black nitride blow-back bolt for ultimate reliability and ease of cleaning. Each rifle is built with our patented 9mm buffer system that reduces weight, felt recoil and wear.
