Acknowledgement: Citadel Gun and Safe in Las Vegas

If it matters to anyone here on Calguns, I have found a vendor in Las Vegas that is California friendly - Citadel Gun and Safe.

They had a GunBroker listing for a particular off-list rifle that I've been searching high and low for.

I contacted them via email asking if they'd be willing to both render the rifle California legal by removing the pistol grip and ship it out to California. They agreed.

The rifle came with the pistol grip detached.

The salespeople I was in contact with were very courteous and friendly.

I am quite pleased with the transaction and thought I would share.

I like Citadel and have bought from them in the past. However, I don't often buy there as prices tend to be high, but the store is well stocked and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you're visiting Vegas, it should be one of your stops; you'll likely find something to take home with you.
People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

If I was going out to Nevada for a shoot, does this shop have a problem with Cali folks buying high capacity magazine to use in Nevada and disassembling them before coming back to Cali?

I've never been able to figure out why this is a problem for anybody. Even 'The Gun Store' on Tropicana told me they'll sell normal capacity magazines to CA residents; but they also say they have a 'disclaimer' you have to sign. Buy from someone else. I know for a fact that Henderson Defense and Bargain Pawn will sell to CA residents, I haven't asked at Citadel or other places.

I bought used Benelli from them through Gunbroker. It's a recoil-powered semi-auto Benelli that came with a surefire forend and sidesaddle. I discovered after a couple of months (at the skeet range you can only shoot one round at a time, so I didn't notice) that it wouldn't cycle rounds. I guessed it was probably the extra weight from the accessories. It also was extremely sooty. It had been advertised as excellent condition. I cleaned it thoroughly, and it still wouldn't cycle. I even replaced the recoil spring, and it still WONT CYCLE. I'm going to have to send it in to Benelli.
So, basically THEY SOLD ME A BROKEN SHOTGUN. They refuse to give me any kind of refund.
In addition to all that, they initially sent the WRONG GUN to my FFL dealer! They sent an AR-15 with a 30 rd magazine that's ILLEGAL in CA! I had to wait 2 weeks to send it back and get my shotgun that they'd mail to Indiana-all of this with no refund on shipping.
I'm considering filing suit since I spent about $1,000 on this gun.
