Vortex Crossfire 2 Red Dot -- $149 before logging in
Vortex SPARC AR Red Dot -- $199 before logging in
We have an overstock on Vortex's entry level red dots, the SPARC AR and Crossfire 2. The primary differences being controls (rotary knob on Crossfire, buttons on SPARC AR), power source (AA for SPARC AR), and mount (Crossfire 2 shares Aimpoint Micro base).
If you want an optic but want to pair it with a better mount or a QD option, go with the Crossfire. If you prefer a near ubiquitous power source like AA batteries, the SPARC AR is a great choice with a built in mount that is adjustable for either absolute or lower 1/3 co-witness. Neither one is a bad choice for a training gun, as a back up red dot, or on a plinker.
Fully backed by Vortex's awesome warranty, buy with confidence on these sub $200 red dot optics from an American company.
