FWIW, I was in Madera Friday and checked out a little sporting goods store called "Pete's". Lo and behold, there is a respectable supply of ammo there, to include BB 9mm and 45! Here's the rub>>>9mm is $22.00 per box of 50!!!!!!

Still, if anybody is hard up, it is there....

By the time you get a couple of boxes of 9MM's at walmart, it's more than $22
a box if you factor in the fuel you consumed by checking almost everyday

I guess not all people is up to day with telephones. I know, it's tough to pick up the phone to check availability

The receptionist at HB walmart gets ammo update daily in the morning. You don't even need to get transferred to sporting goods to check ammo availability. I guess my phone bill will offset any savings from paying $20 per 100 round box of WWB

if this is gonna turn into another gouging thread ,I'm up for it. Things have been sort of boring since the day when stripped lowers were going for $600.00 at ProDefensive Firearm in Redlands. Our only reprieve has been poor mr. pull'n'shoot who sniffs bicycle seats outside of dormatories in the hopes of stalking his next 'girlfriend'. His pamphlet "Snare Traps for Dating"is his project for a commercial arts class . Now who is gouging ammo?
