Duarte is tapped as of 8:26 pm. I fit their last .40 and 9mm was gone before I got there. Some .38 spl left.

Just got from Duarte/Monrovia Walmart. They got about 25-30 boxes left of Federal 9mm (50round box) for 9.47. Besides that, they have the usual 30-06, 30cal, 22short.

Went in the afternoon today. Duarte/Walmart has Federal 9mm, WWB .40s&w, WWB 7.62x39. They also have a lot of .223 which isn't really flying off the shelves anymore.

I wouldn't go as far as calling them losers, but definitely unethical.

I wouldn't call it unethical at all. It's called business. What do you think all the stores are doing. Buying it cheap and selling it at a profit. Basic supply an demand. If people can't plan to buy ammo when it's available and less expensive then have to go buy from these guys that are selling, that's on them.

Personally I applaud someone who is trying to make extra money, especially at this day and age when we could all use extra money. Now it's a different story if it was a monopoly and they're price gouging but that's not the case here.

Anyways, stopped by Wally World in Duarte today and they had 3 boxes of the Federal 9mm left which I ended up buying. They also had a ton of Federal .40 S&W and at least one case full of CCI Stingers ($5.47 per 50 rd. box).

yea but what these amateur resellers were doing was creating an inflated demand.

that is like saying, if a group of guys with tanker trucks decided to go to all the gas stations in a 20 mile radius and bought all the gas, then resold it at $8/gal . and then claim it is capitalism. that there is an increased demand, with low supply so they are doing us a service by selling their "stash"
