This was in another post yesterday.

The amazing thing is they have had them for 24 hours now. They started with 77 of them at 10:30AM yesterday, and are only down 7 to 70 after a whole day.

I think they are sitting since just about everyone is tapped out about now with AR stuff unless it is one of the more exotic calibers, plus they are DPMS which has been getting a bad rap lately.

But now i am torn.... if it is just a LMT upper from BCM.... i will be able to mess with it, take off the FSB, put on a FF HG, or even paint it FDE..... now, that it is a Colt.... i would feel guilty to mess with it... sucks....

Yet, how can one pass on a 6920?

There are Colt, LMT, Noveske..... and then there are Stag, CMT, DPMS, Bushmaster..... not all ARs are built the same...

Lower quality BCGs, scratches, nics and not finished are the main issues. They are pumping them out way too fast without even looking them over and finishing them. I have seen a number of unfinished, not staked, and /or improperly stakes bolt carriers in their uppers.

I have ordered these same M4s from the same company a couple of months ago, and they were all fine though. Other models had problems from other companies.

Even the last batch of CMMGs weren't as good as they used to be as well. You have to image all the overtime and exhaustion the employees are facing at these companies of late.

Don't get me wrong though...these are a great value if you need an upper and if you had any problems with these SGCUSA would take care of you.

I know 4 people who has DPMS and only one out of the 3 was properly torqued and staked. The other 3 had lots of FTE issues.
