Passing this along so you don't have to get gouged if you need an M4 upper. Not happy about people picking up BCM uppers with no BCG and then selling them here for $800 or so.

You can get a spike's .223 upper in 4 to 6 weeks.

Spike's Tactical 16" M4 upper.

Complete with bolt carrier group and charging handle.

Bolt carriers have the shrouded firing pin to protect against hammer wear and properly staked gas key.

Upper receivers are T marked w/ M4 feed ramps and have the Spike's logo.

Features include:

Contour M4 barrel

Notched M4 handguard cap

Chrome-lined 5.56mm chamber and bore 1/7 twist

Parkerizing under F marked forged front sight base

Magnetic particle testing on every barrel.

No that is not at all a price gouge.

That is a Sabre Denfese upper my friend. Spikes switched from using CMMG to using Sabre which is a major defense contractor that is comparable to Colt, LMT and BCM.

I picked up 2 myself. Lead time is more like 7 to 8 weeks in reality, still not bad though.

ORLY? That's the price Spike's says it's worth. Who is charging some crazy price way above what Spike's would charge for it? That is a killer price for a complete upper with a 1:7 twist...

Forgot to mention they use the Sabre Defese barrel now....

7 to 8 weeks??? Well I guess that is pretty good during these times. However, I did get my 9mm upper from them in 4 weeks(on friday)

Yeah, I had to call and remind them I was past due, but all good. I love the uppers. Worth the wait.

I just think you didn't know what they are made of. No one really does unless they received one in the past couple of weeks.

I they were CMMGs then yeah maybe they are charging a $50 premium, but not on Sabres.

Of course it will work on your lower. I would say it is fancy.
