PPU M855 62 gr. 5.56mm at Ammo to Go

For $109.95/200. It's not the best price in the world, but it's not bad (these days) either.

    Have at it.

They also have a variety of other M855 and XM855 ammo.

Might be why they still have some.

I don't know. I thought the price wasn't all that bad last night when I picked up 800 rounds of that stuff from them and 200 rounds of .308 PRVI for $150. I think most green tip is going for more when you can find it. I hope it didn't look good because of the wine I was drinking.

        4 x 200rds - 5.56 Prvi Partizan 62gr M855 Penetrator Ammo (pp5.6) = $439.80
        1 x 200rds - .308 Prvi Partizan 145gr. FMJ Ammo (pp3.22) = $149.95

I thought it was a decent price for M855 also, especially if your only looking to pick up a couple hundred rounds of it. All the other stuff they have is over 100-200.00 more per 1k. Granted not the best but more reasonable than most places when ever they do get some.

No really, that price sucks. I paid $83 per 200 rounds 8 weeks ago.

I think he might have been talking about Wideners as I ordered some there as well about the same time. I don't recall it being green tip, but either way a lot has changed since then and ammo is even scarcer then ever right now in bulk. These guys have nothing right now:

Widener's Reloading and Shooting Supply has ammo and reloading supplies for sale at cheap prices. Find out why we're the best deal on the web today!

The price is good and they have it. Good for me for the times. And shipping was only $30 for 1K rounds.

People are stock piling ammo. Some of this stuff is going for a $1 a round right now.

                    Yep Widners.
It all came with green tips, but color doesn't matter too much to me as I keep all my 55gr in separate marked ammo cans.

Right, but they have no ammo now like everywhere else.

Sorry, that was meant to answer the question of "where"?

Palmetto had it for $85 for 200rds.

It's sad that it has gotten this expensive so quickly. There are so many people stock piling, so many people scared they won't be able to get ammo, and so many new AR owners which is contributing to all of this.

A couple of years ago ammo shot up as well and people claimed it was due to the price of copper. Now it is purely supply and demand and how much are we willing to pay.

I am just happy that most of my ammo was bought years ago, but still you can never have enough.

I used to ***** and moan when .50 BMG was $1 to $1.50 a round 15 years ago and thought why would I own one of these if ammo costs that much, but now I am buying 6.8SPC., 6.5 Grendel, and nearly .308 ammo at that price. 5.56 will be there soon enough and then we will be shooting a lot less.

I thought I was done a few weeks ago, but I didn't have any M855 yet, just M193 and some other .223 55 gr. I missed out on the Palmetto stuff, so I'm glad they got the Prvi at ATG.

The really scary price increases to me are the ones that I'm seeing for the steel or bimetal cased 7.62x39. I'm seeing that stuff out there for $350-$410/1K rounds and up (and not just at Cheaper than Squat, either). I picked up 1000 Wolf HP for $280 a few weeks ago and thought that was expensive...
