REEDS Guns Shop In Santa Clara

My first time there today. Wow! What a shop! Great staff and very helpful.
Doesn't seem like a ammo dry spell there.
One question who imposed the "No Case Sales" for 38/40/45 rounds??
I would drive up there from Salinas any day!

I think it a self imposed thing. Just so they won't sell out of ammo right away. Funny thing though as I went and bought a case of WWB .45 ammo and the next week they had that sign up on no case sales and only 5 boxes at a time.

i haven't been to reed's in awhile... not since they closed down the gun shop.

went to bay area gun vault today for the first time. i thought the prices would be outrageous but they were decent in these times. pretty decent selection as well.

          Nice place. Nice people.

nice place, bought some AR buffer tubes and tactical latches there last weekend

too bad the range can't take rifle rounds, and too bad they don't deal on OLLs

I was there on Tuesday and they didn't have much 45 ACP ammo. nothing under 81 cents a bullet. just a few boxes of match grade and hollow point.

                  Makes sense.

They're (at least partly) in the business of getting shooters in the door to rent guns, lanes and buy ammo. If they let someone buy all their ammo (even at inflated prices), who's going to rent those guns?

Used to go there now and again when I was living in the South Bay and drove down to test drive a G21 before buying. I tend to hit Target Masters if I want to shoot indoors now though as it's closer to home.

I delt with reeds before they closed down the gun section in their store not at the range.

Brought the Springfield 1911 Operator, nice people good service.

Gun and range prices are pretty high. The guys that run the range section are mostly all good guys.

They also play host to the Monday Night Shooting League.
