How soon for the 223/5.56 version? I just received a Gen 2 AR Maglock but wont use it if the Gen 4 is very soon:O

We will have to see. Since they share parts with the .308 system so many people have been waiting for the .308. I would say some time in March conservatively.

Hey Guys.

So AR Maglock is making some updated Gen 4 arms and catches for those of you that have upper and lower combos that aren't similar to DPMS pattern rifles.

IF you have a thinner profile rifle like an Aero Precision M5 you will need to specify it on AR Maglock web page before you purchase your kit. They are currently in the process of getting inventory for those particular rifles.

Also uppers that have a severe angle or round where it meets the upper will need the updated version of the Gen 4 arm.

I will update here when those are ready to rock and roll.

Kingpins are still good to go on most rifles unless you have some strange milling around the rear takedown pin area.
