Compensators are catching on big for duty/carry guns. Although smaller compensators are found for deep concealment IWB guns, those who preference towards the full "Roland Special" setup will want the most effective comp toward the purpose of reducing recoil. The KE Arms Two-Port Enhanced Compensators are just that. Using dual 12 o'clock ports with a fore mounted lateral port; these comps deliver plenty of surface area and additional mass to help mitigate recoil by some 40%, according to KE Arms. The additional porting does mean this comp will be finnicky with 115gr plinking ammunition but works reliably with 124gr or heavier.
The KE Arms Compensators come in a Short Threads or Long Threads version. Some aftermarket barrels are longer than others and a the longer body of the the Long Threads Two-Port Comp is designed to "close the gap."
