Looks like you're paying a hair over 52 cents per round.

sportsmans guide just sent out an email today advertising 600 rounds for $304. If you're in their club, and use a coupon, total price is $300~$302 delivered, coming in at a hair over 50 cents per round.

With shipping, I am paid $ 10.47 per 20rd box delivered from ODM. Locally, the same ammo is impossible to find retail. Wally World sometimes has green box Rem .223 for $10.99 plus tax..

It's a good price, if you see better online and in stock post it..

If you think the price of 5.56 is outrageous, you should have been following the price of .50 BMG

Yeah, I remember when .50 BMG was just under $1/round and I thought that was absurd.

.308's going through the roof as well.

I have my reloading supplies... I'm not gonna pay the RIDICULOUS price of ammo that individuals or dealers are charging. Some of the prices I see people charging around here for ammo is insane.

Prices will come back down. You can already see the supply of ammo starting to come back. Reloading supplies... now thats a different story.
